Fair Play
Anti-Cheat & Fair Play Policy
UniAfriX is built on the foundational principle of competitive integrity. The legitimacy of every ranking point, every tournament result, and every prize distributed through this Platform depends on all participants competing fairly and within the rules. UniAfriX takes a proactive, technology-driven, and zero-tolerance approach to anti-cheat enforcement.
Effective Date: May 7, 2026 | Version: 1.0
1. Zero Tolerance Policy
1.1 Any confirmed breach of this Anti-Cheat & Fair Play Policy constitutes a material breach of the Terms and Conditions and will result in one or more of the following consequences, applied at the sole discretion of UniAfriX based on the severity of the violation: • Immediate and permanent suspension of all accounts associated with the offending user • Forfeiture of the entire UAX token balance, pending prize distributions, and any in-progress tournament entry fees across all associated accounts • Permanent exclusion from all future UniAfriX tournaments and platform activities • Public disclosure of the ban on the Platform's integrity notice board, where UniAfriX determines this is in the interest of the competitive community • Referral of the matter to applicable law enforcement or regulatory authorities where criminal conduct, fraud, or money laundering is suspected 1.2 The severity of the consequence applied shall be commensurate with the nature, duration, and impact of the violation. Aggravating factors—including repeat offences, collusion at scale, and financial gain—will result in the application of the most severe available sanctions.
2. Prohibited Behaviour
The following behaviours are expressly prohibited on the UniAfriX Platform. This list is illustrative and not exhaustive. UniAfriX reserves the right to investigate and sanction any conduct that, in its reasonable judgment, constitutes an attempt to gain an unfair competitive advantage or undermine the integrity of the Platform. 2.1 Software Manipulation & Technical Cheating The use, installation, or distribution of any software, hardware device, or network tool that modifies, intercepts, injects into, or otherwise augments the normal operation of a game client or network communication is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to: • Aim-assistance software (aim-bots) of any kind • Wall-hacks, ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) cheats, or any tool that renders ordinarily invisible game information visible • Speed hacks, lag switches, or packet manipulation tools • Macro scripts that automate in-game actions to a degree beyond normal human capability • Memory editors, DLL injection tools, or any software that modifies game client files at runtime • Virtual machines or emulators used to circumvent anti-cheat detection systems 2.2 Account Fraud & Smurfing The following account-related offences are prohibited: • Smurfing: Creating or operating secondary accounts of artificially low ranking in order to compete against lower-skilled opponents, inflate win rates, or manipulate matchmaking systems. • Account Boosting: Playing on another user's account, or allowing another person to play on your account, for the purpose of artificially elevating the account's ranking or earning prizes on behalf of the account holder. • Account Selling & Buying: The purchase, sale, or transfer of accounts with established rankings or prize history is prohibited under Section 3.3 of the Terms and Conditions and constitutes an additional violation of this Policy. • Identity Fraud: Impersonating another user, professional player, or UniAfriX staff member in any context on or related to the Platform. 2.3 Match Fixing & Collusion Any deliberate manipulation of match outcomes—regardless of the means employed—constitutes match fixing and is a serious violation of this Policy. Prohibited conduct includes: • Pre-arranging the winner of a match or the score of a game with an opponent or any third party • Coordinating with teammates to intentionally lose a match (commonly referred to as "throwing") to manipulate bracket seedings, future matchups, or prize allocation • Accepting or offering inducements—monetary or otherwise—in exchange for a pre-determined match result • Sharing real-time strategic information with opponents during a match UniAfriX may report confirmed cases of match fixing to game publishers, esports governing bodies, and, where applicable, law enforcement authorities. 2.4 Unsportsmanlike Conduct & Community Standards UniAfriX is committed to maintaining a competitive environment that is inclusive, respectful, and free from harassment. The following conduct is prohibited: • Harassment, threats, intimidation, or targeted abuse directed at any other user, UniAfriX staff member, or third party in connection with Platform activity • The use of hate speech, discriminatory language, or content that targets individuals or groups on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or national origin • Doxxing—the publication of private or identifying information about another user without their consent • Excessive or deliberate use of vulgar, obscene, or offensive language in public-facing Platform spaces Violations of community standards may result in temporary or permanent suspension, depending on severity, even where no competitive rule has been technically breached. 2.5 Exploitation of Platform Vulnerabilities Any deliberate exploitation of bugs, glitches, or technical vulnerabilities in the Platform for competitive advantage or financial gain is prohibited. Users who discover such vulnerabilities are encouraged to report them responsibly to security@uniafrix.com. Responsible disclosure will not result in disciplinary action and may be acknowledged or rewarded at UniAfriX's discretion.
3. Anti-Cheat Telemetry & Monitoring
3.1 By accessing and using the UniAfriX Platform, you expressly and irrevocably consent to the UniAfriX Anti-Cheat system monitoring the following during all active Platform sessions: • Match metadata, including timestamps, server logs, and session identifiers • In-session performance metrics and statistical patterns that may indicate anomalous or non-human behaviour • Software environment signatures and process lists at the time of match participation, where permissible under the applicable game client's terms of service • Network traffic metadata relevant to match integrity verification 3.2 All telemetry data collected is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy set out in Section II of this document. Telemetry data is used exclusively for anti-cheat purposes and competitive integrity reviews and is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes. 3.3 UniAfriX employs both automated detection systems and human review in its anti-cheat enforcement process. Automated flagging does not automatically result in a ban—all automated flags are subject to human review prior to any enforcement action.
4. Reporting Violations
4.1 All UniAfriX users are encouraged to report suspected violations of this Policy. Reports may be submitted via the in-platform reporting tool or by email to integrity@uniafrix.com. All reports are treated with strict confidentiality and the identity of the reporting user will not be disclosed to the reported user. 4.2 False or malicious reports submitted in bad faith constitute a violation of the Terms and Conditions and may result in disciplinary action against the reporting user.
5. Disciplinary Process & Appeals
UniAfriX is committed to a fair, transparent, and consistent enforcement process. The following procedure applies to all Anti-Cheat & Fair Play investigations. 5.1 Detection & Flagging Potential violations may be identified through automated telemetry analysis, user reports, manual review by the UniAfriX integrity team, or information provided by game publishers or anti-cheat technology partners. 5.2 Preliminary Suspension Where a potential violation presents a credible and serious risk to the integrity of ongoing competitions or other users, UniAfriX may impose an immediate precautionary suspension of the relevant account(s) pending a full investigation. A precautionary suspension is not a finding of guilt and will be communicated to the user via their registered email address together with a general description of the concern. 5.3 Investigation & Evidence Review The formal investigation will be conducted by the UniAfriX technical integrity team, led by the Head of Infrastructure. The investigation will include a comprehensive review of all available evidence, including match logs, telemetry data, statistical analysis, user reports, and any other relevant information. The investigation period will not ordinarily exceed fourteen (14) business days from the date of preliminary suspension, though complex cases may require additional time. 5.4 Notification of Outcome Following the conclusion of the investigation, UniAfriX will notify the user of the outcome via their registered email address. If a violation is confirmed, the notification will specify: (a) the nature of the violation found; (b) the sanction(s) imposed; and (c) the user's right to appeal and the procedure for doing so. 5.5 Appeal Procedure A user who has received notification of a confirmed ban has the right to submit one (1) formal written appeal within seven (7) calendar days of the date of the notification. The appeal must be submitted via the Platform's designated appeals portal or by email to integrity@uniafrix.com and must: • Clearly identify the account subject to the ban • State the specific grounds of the appeal • Include all supporting evidence the user wishes to be considered Appeals that do not comply with these requirements may be rejected as procedurally defective. UniAfriX will acknowledge receipt of a valid appeal within forty-eight (48) hours and will endeavour to issue a final determination within ten (10) business days of acknowledgement. 5.6 Final Determination If the appeal is upheld, the suspension will be lifted and any withheld funds will be released in full. If the ban is upheld following appeal, the determination is final and binding. No further appeals will be entertained. UniAfriX shall not be obligated to provide further explanation beyond that communicated in the appeal outcome notification. 5.7 Statute of Limitations UniAfriX reserves the right to investigate potential violations that occurred at any point during a user's tenure on the Platform, including historical activity. There is no statute of limitations for confirmed violations of this Policy.
